We submit our products to the CERAH (Centre d’Etudes et de Recherche sur l’Appareillage des Handicapés), accredited COFRAC (Comité Français d’Accréditation) to undergo a complete set of tests to guarantee the quality and safety of our products .
Following these experiments, none of the components used exhibit any permanent deformation or breakage.
Each model is the subject of a patent lodged at the INPI and are in full compliance with EN ISO 11334-1.
A loading force of 130 kg corresponding to the max user weight is applied one million times via a dummy arm to the fully-extended crutch.
FDI elbow crutch is placed for 24 hours at -25 °C in the aim of weakening the structure.
Within 30 seconds of being removed from the cold environment, the elbow crutch undergoes a series of falls which must not reveal any cracks or fractures.
Our elbow crutches must withstand 130 kg of static load without weakening. To be validated, a loading force is applied via a dummy arm to the fully extended crutch and methodically reproduces a rise in weight to 1300 newtons for 10 seconds.
A pulling force of 500 newtons is applied for 10 seconds time to the upper and lower parts of the crutch.
None of its components must disassociate.
